HARPS UNHUNG

PRAISING GOD IN THE MIDST OF CAPTIVITY: 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION

Harps Unhung is the poetry project of Eileen Anderson, whose vision was to re-write all 150 biblical psalms, using 150 unique poetry formats. Sadly, Eileen had completed only 75 of the Psalm poems before succumbing to ovarian cancer in March of 2013.

Taking the mantle up after her death, her daughter Vicki Joy, completed the remaining 75 poems, completing the collection. Harps Unhung is a call for suffering, sick, and weary Christians to praise the Lord in the midst of captivity—knowing, as David did, that God is mighty. Even when life seems the most bleak and hopeless, God is near to the crushed in spirit and deliverance is on its way.

THEY ONLY COME OUT AT NIGHT

EXPOSING THE DARK WEAPON OF SLEEP PARALYSIS

The new, riveting and groundbreaking page-turner by Vicki Joy Anderson.

Sleep Paralysis: is it all in the mind or is it something deeper and darker? Who are Sleep Paralysis entities’ main targets? Are YOU one of them?

What is your way out of the astral matrix?

BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN

I can scarcely even remember writing these poems, so distraught was I back then; when I had endured 18 forlorn months on a plane of existence that no longer knew the name of my dear mother. Grief-stricken though I was, I had, by this time, resigned myself to my fate.  There was I—a Moses in the midst of war with no Aaron or Hur to uphold me.

Discovering these long-forgotten hymns nearly a decade after they were penned was like finding buried treasure. Time had crept in. Filled in the blanks.

I felt, back in those days, that God had left my side. I knew with my mind that He hadn’t, but my head and my heart were going down divergent paths of grief and it was not until I stumbled back upon these poems that my mind was forced to reconsider all its befogged recollections. These poems are a testimony. A witness of my faith. I fought. And I sang.

It is my most sincere wish that this volume will find its way into the hands of other despondent, grief-stricken pilgrims, weary on their journey, and tempted to surrender. May these poems be an Aaron and a Hur. May they lift you up. There is no pit so deep that Christ’s hand cannot reach you. Take His hand.

TRANSFORMING PRAYER

This book is designed to guide you through one month of transforming prayer–but it may surprise you to find out who this book is designed to transform. Changing the hearts of others will require a willingness to have your own heart penetrated.

Ezekiel 11:19 says that Yahweh can take our hearts of stone and give us hearts of flesh. But can we expect Yahweh to perform radical heart surgery on others when we have refused to allow Him to first test His sovereign scalpel on us?

Prayer is not a statistical crapshoot where we blindly beg Yahweh to intervene–throwing requests at Him like He is nothing more than a Velcro dartboard, hoping our petitions will stick. Prayer is the result of daily intimacy with Christ. The prayers of a righteous person availeth much–because the hearts of the righteous are in tune with Christ’s heart, and Yahweh DELIGHTS to answer the prayers of those who love and delight in Him.

SCAVENGER HUNT

Anne of Green Gables meets Marty McFly in this time-traveling adventure!

Fourteen-year-old Sadie doesn’t believe there’s a God. Why should she? Her best friend moved away. She always clams up in front of Caleb, the cutest guy in school. And the Whine Trine—a clique of three pretty, popular girls, all hate her. How could it get any worse?

How about being forced to go on a youth group trip…with all of them? Sadie, full of angst, winds up on a five-hour bus ride to Hoosick Falls, NY, where she gets stuck on a team with the Whine Trine, hunting through the woods for silly scavenger hunt items all weekend. Sadie wanders away from the group and finds an abandoned log cabin, deep in the woods, where the first item on her list—a drawer knob—turns into a key that unlocks a secret passageway behind a painting on the wall. But this secret passageway is no mere tunnel—it is a wormhole that stretches through time!

When the portal closes behind her, Sadie finds herself trapped in 1876 Hoosick Falls. In desperation, she cries out to the God who she has turned her back on and is soon reunited with Caleb, who came in through the time portal to rescue her. Together, they discover that when various items on each of their scavenger hunt lists are paired together, the time portal re-opens, randomly shipping them off to a new place and time.

During their travels, Sadie inhabits the bodies of Jerusha Edwards, Fanny Crosby, Harriet Tubman, Phyllis Wheatley, Elizabeth Tilly, and Maria Mitchell. Living out the day-to-day lives of these girls as teenagers, Sadie realizes that when ordinary girls put their faith in an extraordinary God, they can transform their trials into testimonies that change the world.

But Sadie and Caleb lose their scavenger hunt lists along the way. Will they remember all the items on their lists? Will they keep jumping from time to time forever? Will they ever find their way back home?

Hold your breath as Christian clashes swords with Apollyon, and broods behind bars in the bastille of Giant Despair. Meander the menacing mountain paths, and veer through the streets of Vanity Fair as Christian sojourns upon his lonely-but-heroic quest towards eternal life.

Is Bunyan on your biblio-bucket list, but you have been too befuddled to begin? Tackle ten stanzas a day and you will have this monograph mastered in a matter of months! Never has The Pilgrim’s Progress been so easy to read or to comprehend!

The Weary-Wayfarer hopes to bring The Pilgrim’s Progress into yet another century of readership without compromising its content, conviction, or creed. Where many modern editions substitute Bunyan’s English with contemporary language or edit out large portions of the dialogue, The Weary-Wayfarer honors Bunyan’s voice, choosing instead to rearrange the format of his manuscript, rather than sacrificing the content of his story.  Bunyan is no longer above your head, but just within your reach!

THE EMPEROR'S NEW GENDER

“The Emperor’s New Gender” is a short, 50-page booklet that reimagines Hans Christian Andersen’s famous children’s tale, “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” with a postmodern twist! Andersen’s tale, originally penned in 1837, still has much to teach us today. In our story, our 21st-century, gender dysphoric Emperor is positioned on a modern stage afront the backdrop of a present-day, PC-movement that is attempting to cow people out of their constitutional rights by rebranding religious freedom, moral convictions, and the preaching of the Gospel as “crimes” and “hate speech.”

The story is followed by a two-part Afterword explaining the story within its modern context; with an apologetic aimed at both the mainstream American Church, as well as individuals within the LGBTQ movement. While the book specifically cites a gender-dysphoric emperor, the aim of the book is not to attack individuals in the LGBTQ movement, but rather to highlight the overly-contrived transgender agenda being propagated upon the American people by those with little to no interest whatsoever in LGBTQ rights or the issues and challenges faced by the people involved in its movement. The book also serves as a cattle prod to the derrière of an increasingly-drowsy Church that has been lulled to sleep by decades of humorous homilies, pep talks, movie clips, and self-esteem gospel messages.
